| It's sad... I don't go on Xanga anymore. I hardly blog nowadays. I'm devoted to Facebook. Could this be my last entry here? We'll see.
I'm still watching Korean drama and I LOVE IT. It's too bad these shows don't last as long as I would like them to. Just earlier this week, Pure in Heart ended. So sad... On the bright side, there's 3 new shows : When Spring Comes (aka Flowers Bloom When Spring Comes), As High As The Sky And Wide As The Earth (aka As Much As Heaven and Earth), and Dalja's Spring (aka The Spring of Oh Dal Ja). I'm already hooked. All you people are missing out!
I can't stop taking pictures!!! What's wrong with me? Somebody please help! I'm afraid it's going to get out of control. I currently have 246 albums on Facebook. That's a bit much. And that doesn't even include all the videos and audios I took, the vast majority of which are not uploaded. I can't help myself. I want to capture every moment of my life whether it's significant or not. Oh the memories... It's so candid. What should I do?

| November was one heck of a month, eh? record rainfall… cold
temperatures… snow and ice?! that’s something that doesn’t happen often.
time went by pretty fast. summer didn’t feel that long ago. what?!
it’s the holiday season already? i can’t believe winter is coming up fast. what
have i been doing since i last wrote here 4 months ago? oh yeah... that’s
right... work. and more work. that sounds like a boring life. constantly working and
saving up. wait, i do have a life outside work. really? i’m sure of it. i still
do the same old stuff with friends. yep. the usual extracurricular
activities... u know, poker, dinner, movies, Ambassador stuff, etc.
hmm... anything new? well, lets see... here were some stuff worth remembering.
Aug. 12-13... Canada trip with friends Aug. 25-29... Chicago
trip Aug... singing karaoke weekly Sept... crabbing (and eating) Sept. 9-10... camping trip with friends Oct. 15... clamming at night/morning with friends Oct. 21... joining 24-hr Fitness Nov... gambling at Muckleshoot and Tulalip casino Nov. 15-20... jury duty Nov. 24... waiting in line and for friends at Circuit City for 6 hours
i’ve been doing quite a bit of shopping lately. my current credit
card bill is more than $1700! what happened? i’m not the type of person who
spends a lot. but spend i did. mostly it’s clothes and electronics stuff.
my major purchase this holiday season is another digital
camera for myself. i know i know... why buy a new camera when i already have
one? last year, i bought my Nikon Coolpix S1 for $250 after tax. this year, i
bought a Casio EX-Z600 for $240 after tax (could have been cheaper, oh wells).
there were certain features on the Nikon that i didn’t like or is lacking. those
features are not a problem on the Casio. of course, all cameras have their pros
and cons but hopefully, Casio will turn out to be better. i’ll be testing it
out for the next few weeks. if i like it, i’ll keep it. i’m not sure what i’ll
do with the Nikon. i’ll either sell it or keep it for sentimental value.
like every year, Black Friday had some pretty good deals. some
items i bought at Circuit
City were... 250GB
external harddrive for $40(after rebate), 2GB flash drive for $13(after
rebate), and four 1GB SD memory cards for $3 each(after rebate). i wonder what
i might need or want next year. laptop is a no. same goes for a pc. hmm... tivo?
maybe. i probably will get a tv... just like the Panasonic 52” LCD projection HDTV Circuit
City was selling that day
for only $1000.
after a 2-month break, i’m watching Korean drama once again.
*sigh* i love these tv sitcoms. i’m currently watching Pure in Heart, Stairway
of Clouds, and Fugitive Lee Duyoung. | | |
| Lets see, I haven't checked Xanga for a long time. I wrote nothing in 3 months, eh? I'll change that.
Work has kept me quite busy and tired. Overtime is a norm for me now but I'm content with what I do. I enjoy life a lot more.
I still watch the same amount of TV which is a lot. Korean drama is still great. Too bad there are no more episodes for the shows I used to watch. I miss The Bizarre Bunch and Summer Scent. What happend to Goodbye Solo? Oh wells. I'm watching Mr. Goodbye and Kindergarten Love now. Both are really good.
Hanging out with friends is what makes my life worthwhile. I try to show up to all the activities and special events that come up. Taking photos is very important to me. It's all about the memory and time spent with friends. It must be cherished even if it may seem insignificant.
Every time I take photos, I believe it is my duty to share them. I try my best to find time to upload them online. I post most of the photos on facebook. I find it really convenient and easy to use. I apologize to those of you who can't access the photos. I prefer facebook and it would take me forever to post them on a different site. On last count, I have 123 albums on facebook.
Good news! I recently got new glasses. The brand is Silhouette and made in Austria. The frames, lens, and clip-on shades combined cost $470! My insurance covered only $150 of that cost. It's all good though. I really like the glasses. It is half-framed and really flexible.
August Events (and photos to upload): Canada Trip 8/12-8/13 Friend's B-days... Bellevue Sculpture Exhibition Painting Chinatown Chicago Trip 8/25-8/29 and more...

| after exactly 4 weeks, i'm not sick anymore. is that a good thing? maybe
i'm no longer depressed... all thanks to the cold. it made me think
more about the present and not the future. as long as i live in the
present and not concern too much about the future, i'm all good. many
of you probably disagree. i should be planning my future right now if i
haven't already. i should be asking myself what i will be doing in 5 or
10 years. i should be doing all i can to achieve my goals.
well, what if my goal is simply to be happy? that is actually my #1
goal in life... to be happy and worry-free. why should i try to come up
with so many goals in life when i'm already content? well, somewhat
content. i'm satisfied where i am right now. it is life-changing goals
that i don't want to deal with. it will only make me miserable.
is there anything wrong with what i think?

i'm addicted to korean drama! i first stumbled upon KBS on my satellite
tv two months ago. since then, i had to make sure i come home every
weekday by 6pm to catch the tv shows. it sucks whenever i miss an
episode. good thing that doesn't happen often. i can always record them
but it's just not the same.
The Bizarre Bunch is great. it is Korea's #1 daily drama. The Golden
Apple and Thank You Life is also good, but my favorite show is
currently Summer Scent. this show gives me a constant nice and warm
feeling whenever i watch it. it was produced 3 years ago and is
available on dvd now. there are only 20 episodes and i finished the 8th
one yesterday. too bad it's aired only twice a week.

| so, if you've been wondering, i've been feeling much better now.
well... mentally that is. physically, i'm really sick. for some weird
reason, this cold of mine caused me to become less depressed. it feels
so nice to feel miserable physically for the past 11 days. i hope this
will last a while longer.
